Well that’s it from us for this week dear reader. It’s been a miserable week to be a website associated with the USA – this website of course like Woody Guthrie’s guitar kills fascists but killing fascists is exhausting. Anyway, as a reminder that nice things comes out of the country too, we leave you with a new track from the Grammy-nominated Waxahatchee which is an outtake from her latest album “Tigers Blood” – “I’m a fool in angel’s clothing, I’m a glutton for being let down but I can’t help you, I can’t stick around” she sings, and it’s a great tune as always, featuring as it does none other than MJ Lenderman on backing vocals and electric guitar, vocals and drums from Spencer Tweedy, bass from Brad Cook, and some nice banjo and piano from Phil Cook.
Solidarity as always with Palestine, and this week the ICC and USAID too. Answers on a postcard please for who’ll be next. Take care out there.
