Check out the latest single from Texan singer-songwriter Keegan McInroe.  “Traveler’s Wind” features lovely instrumental layers as Matt Tedder’s guitar and Chris Watson’s organ provide a foundation for Dirt Stinnett’s gorgeous mandolin and fiddle.  McInroe’s weary voice is full of character and soulful experience as he reflects on the lonesome roads he’s travelled and his life passing by: “Each day comes and goes and fades from every memory // All we ever have is now. // Breathe in deep the way living in this moment feels // Put your feet back on the ground. // And if you should come across me on my road I hope we’re smiling And that our days are passing well // And what a world and what a time to be alive to see it //  And what a story time does tell.”  This was the final song on McInroe’s 2024 album “Dusty Passports and Empty Beds”, which showcased McInroe’s sensitive songwriting and is well-worth checking out.

The video is beautifully animated by Turkish artist Alemşah Fırat, who says: “Creating the video for ‘Traveler’s Wind’ was a deeply emotional experience. Each frame was hand-painted with watercolor, allowing me to fully immerse in the process. Time, represented by the 12 frames per second, became a medium to express the essence of transformation, freedom, and self-discovery in the song. Inspired by the vibrant culture and landscapes of Morocco, I sought to merge the tangible with the abstract, weaving fluid imagery and symbolic transitions into a narrative that feels both intimate and universal. The video reflects a journey—physical and emotional—where the traveler is shaped by the landscapes, cultures, and people they encounter; celebrating the beauty of change and the fleeting, yet eternal, nature of human experience. I hope it resonates with others as deeply as it did with me, as every journey is a journey made to discover oneself.”  Indeed, watching these scenes come and go is like a journey, leaving the viewer with a sense of time passing and reflecting on how our experiences are more valuable for their fleeting nature.  Thoughtful stuff – check it out.
