Following the positive response to their new album “Let It Hiss”, The Barr Brothers have announced a 4-date Spring headline UK tour, including a performance at London’s Islington Assembly Hall. On 11th November 2025, ahead of their European tour dates supporting Mumford & Sons, they are doing a one-off performance at Rough Trade East, London.

“Let It Hiss” was released on 17th October 2025 via Secret City Records. Reviewing it, AUK’s Bryan Bance described it as “an engaging collection of songs from a band at the top of their game, where everything just lands together perfectly.”

The Barr Brothers have shared a number of singles and videos since announcing the album in June, including the title track ‘Let It Hiss’, propulsive open-road anthem ‘Run Right Into It’, the graceful folk hymn ‘English Harbour’ featuring Jim James and ‘Naturally’, a heartfelt ode to self-acceptance. You can see the video of an acoustic version of ‘English Harbour’ below.

“Let it Hiss” is described as a document of transformation. The result of a pivotal shift: a pause for reflection, a reckoning with vulnerability, and a reconnection between two brothers – Brad and Andrew Barr – who’ve spent their entire lives making music side by side. “Let it Hiss” was produced by the brothers, working primarily as a duo out of their Montreal studio with mix engineer Jon Low (The National, Taylor Swift, Bon Iver).
