It’ll have been getting on for four years since there last studio album when the new collection of songs “Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be” is released next January.  In advance of the release comes this new single, ‘The Uncertain Seas‘ which sails on the emotional seas of longing for an emotional connection and the struggle to understand how to fully give oneself to another.

Kendl Winter of The Lowest Pair offers these thoughts about the song: “‘Uncertain Seas’ is a song about trying to get comfortable with not having answers or resolution, trying to fix unfixable things and pondering what you could have done better in a relationship, wishing you could have done better, while at the same time trying to move on.”

The Lowest Pair will tour in Europe early next year, with this series of UK dates (more tour details here):

January 20 – London
January 21 – Chester
January 22 – Norwich
January 23 – Hull
January 24 – Exeter

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
