AUK Twang Factor 2 winner Jess Jocoy has announced an 18-show tour in the UK for Summer 2022 with further dates for Scotland and Ireland expected to be added. Starting with a gig at The Green Note in London, there is a mixture of her own headline, co-headline, support, house concerts and a couple of slots at Maverick Festival, accumulating with a “Nashville In the Round” show on Independence Day with Hannah Aldridge and Rod Picott.
Seattle born resident of Nashville, Jocoy has been gaining popularity since her debut ‘Such a Long Way‘ and follow-up EP, ‘Brighter Eyes’. Winning the Uber Music Movers Competition, Jocoy opened for country music artist Chase Rice during CMA Fest. In 2019, she appeared on the NBC hit series ‘Songland‘ and gained airplay on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Ulster being ‘Artist of the Week’ on the Eve Blair Late Show. Having been named as Caffè Nero Artist of the Month for November 2021, her music played in over 750 coffee houses across the UK.
The new studio album ‘Let There Be No Despair’ will be released in May thanks to a Kickstarter campaign last year.
