Uncle Lucius “All The Angelenos” – heading out for vistas new

One of the most popular stories we’ve ever run is “Whatever Happened To…Uncle Lucius”, and clearly we need to go and update it because they are back, and then some.  They have a new album, ‘Like It’s The Last One Left‘, from which today’s single is taken.  It rocks, it swaggers some and it definitely has a honkey-tonk rock and roll heart.

Speaking of the band’s revitalisation frontman Kevin Galloway has said: “There are no limitations this time around, we’re exploring different areas of American roots music, and we’re doing it our own way. There’s a new perspective that comes with stepping away from something for a while, then coming back to it. You can see it with new eyes.”

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
