What a pleasure it is for Americana UK to premiere the video for the latest single from good friend of the site, Julian Taylor. It’s taken from the upcoming album, strongly hinted at by Julian here, ‘Anthology II‘, which will be out on September 10th and which contains songs from across his 25-year career to date. However, there’s something very special about ‘Dedication‘ as it was recorded in a single, spirited session with Julian’s UK band—and what a band: Michele Stodart on bass, Raevennen Husbandes on electric guitar, and Sian Monaghan on drums. Julian Taylor told us that: “[We had] a super tight rhythm section, killer guitar, great backing vocal harmonies, and it all locked in perfectly. I don’t think we had even played our first show together yet when we recorded this, and it was an incredible experience getting to know one another. We hadn’t even played our first show together yet when we recorded this, but it clicked instantly. We’re lifelong friends now, and I love playing with these dynamically talented women every time I go across the pond.”
