Richard Davies rocks out and sings about fighting to survive on new single ‘Way of the Wild’. Davies and the band have managed to produce a creative, engaging video despite doing it while in lock-down. We’re pleased to premiere the video from the new album, ‘Human Traffic’, due out on 19th June. Davies is known for playing guitar for indie band Tiny Monroe and alt.country band The Snakes. However, this is the first album that features him as lead singer and song-writer.
His band, The Dissidents, also features Tim Emery from Case Hardin, adding to the quality musicianship on show. ‘Human Traffic’ promises blue-collar rock’n’roll in the vein of ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town’. Davies says of the album: “Some of the songs are about me, some of them are about other people, but they all capture reality as I see it. I wanted to record an album that was about real life and with all the highs and lows that go with it.” Check out the rest of the album today.
Can’t believe such a talented bunch of musicians aren’t signed to a label. Great lockdown video, absolutely love the album…
