Here’s the latest single from acclaimed singer-songwriter Robert Vincent.  At the beginning of ‘Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow’, Vincent launches immediately into an engaging vocal, soaring high over full, rich musical layers, reflecting his ambitious sound and songcraft.  Vincent says of the song: “Life is about moments that we remember for all kinds of reasons. Moments we laugh about or cry about. I wanted to capture those moments that people loved and to remind people we must follow who and what we love in order to continue to love, no matter what life throws at us.”  It’s a positive message, delivered in gentle rhythms and an uplifting tune.  The accompanying video reinforces the positivity of a life full of love and following our passions.

The single is the second from Vincent’s forthcoming album, ‘Barriers’, following the well-received ‘The Insider’, which featured actor David Morrissey in the video.  The new record is highly anticipated after Vincent’s third, ‘In This Town You’re Owned’, was recognised as the Americana Music Association UK Album Of The Year for 2021.  The material is more open-hearted and intimate, a new direction for Vincent, who says: “I’m learning how to lower my barriers and have made a more personal album than ever before.”  Definitely one to look out for later this year.

‘Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow’ is heartfelt and hopeful, an absorbing song from one of the UK’s finest songwriters.  Enjoy.
