Strange figures in homemade owl costumes bike, skate, and battle with water balloons in the new video from Trampled by Turtles for ‘Burlesque Desert Window’.   The song is from their upcoming album ‘Alpenglow’ which was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweety.  The long time line up of Dave Simonett (guitar and vocals), Erik Berry (mandolin), Ryan Young (fiddle), Dave Carroll (banjo), Tim Saxhaug (bass) and Eamonn McLain (cello) continue the joyous string-driven sound they have made for the past twenty years.

Lead singer and songwriter Dave Simonett says, “Sometimes I just like the way words sound together. Interesting, weird phrases that fit together –– I like trying to think about language as more of a visual art form than a literal one.”

‘Alpenglow’ will be released by Thirty Tigers on October 28th, 2022.
