Americana legends Wilco have released two singles as part of the Spotify Singles series. First of all there’s “If I Ever Was a Child,” which is taken from last year’s “Schmilco” album, and then there’s also a cover of Nick Lowe/Elvis Costello’s “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding.” Spin describes both songs as having “folksy Americana textures going on, with simple guitar and drum arrangements, featuring just a little bit of organ” to which we heartily concur.
