True Foxes exclusively premiere new single to compliment tour support

Having performed over 700 shows (and counting) since forming in 2019, True Foxes, the cousin duo from Cornwall, are quickly gaining recognition in the UK and beyond. Following the release of their debut album “Howl” in March 2024, comparisons have been made to the likes of Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile. Also in 2024, the duo demonstrated their musical range with mainstage performances at the Costa Del Folk festival in Portugal, the Cornwall folk Festival, as well as full band performances at the British Country music Festival and Tunes in the Park (supporting Sophie Ellis-Bexter).

They have now joined forces with folk legend Steve Knightley for an autumn tour as well as working on their second album, due to be released early 2026.

This is an exclusive premiere of their new single ‘Promise Men’, which Aime describes here, “Promise Men is about reclaiming your power and honouring your truth — even when it makes others uncomfortable. It challenges the conditioning that teaches us to be agreeable, accommodating and to stay small, even at the cost of our own peace. It’s a call to reclaim your voice, trust your intuition, and to stop apologising for taking up space. Your desires are just as important as another’s. You weren’t created to shrink.”

Saw them last Sunday supporting Steve Knightley in Bristol last Sunday. Very refreshing. In the style of First Aid Kit i thought.
