The Grahams “Georgette” – who knows what the future will bring

The Grahams have a life in music – Alyssa and Doug started out following The Grateful Dead on tour, expanded their musical adventures by founding the influential 3Sirens Music Group. And, as The Grahams, they spent a decade crafting a trio of concept albums, each of which was themed around exploring the States via river, rail and road. Things are changing, though, with their new album, “The Bridge” turning the spotlight onto personal stories and feelings – point in case this first single ‘Georgette‘ which, Alyssa Graham explains, “is a deeply personal song about our daughter and the fear of not getting to see her grow up. Time is moving fast, life is short – ‘What’s in her dreams and where will she go?’ There is emotion, but also mischief in the music, just like in her spirit.

The Grahams are on tour in the UK this March, literally criss-crossing the nation without actually needing to enter the inside of the M25. Interestingly – well, let’s pretend it’s interesting – the tour as planned requires a journey of around 1200 miles, however if the dates had been planned with a more linear route in mind, then it would only require about 800 miles. That’s the dedication our favourite road warriors are willing to put in – so folks, make sure these are sold-out shows.

The Grahams 2026 Dates:

15th March – Edinburgh, The Caves
16th March – Newcastle, The Cluny
19th March – Bath, Chapel Arts
21st March – Maidenhead, Norden Farm
26th March – Shrewsbury, St. Mary’s – Live In The House
27th March – Ashford, Revelation
28th March – Colchester, The Little Rabbit Barn
29th March – Bury, The Met

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
