Did we call it chill-ax Wednesday? Probably not, that doesn’t sound at all like us. So what have we here to help calm you from that mid-week lull that we call Wednesday afternoon?
Martin Ruby has a new album prepped to go, it’s called ‘Jacob and the Angel’ and it is, he says, “more than instrumentals – it is a real trip, inspired by our collective lockdown experiences.” The interconnected pieces aim to act as the soundtrack to an unmade movie, and here on ‘Sisyphus‘ there’s surely that lockdown feeling that it’s the same thing, day after day and never ending.
