Autumn Hollow “Meantime/Between Time”

Taken from the new EP, ‘Throw the House’, due out June 17 through Oak Honest Records, ‘Meantime / Between Time‘ is the lead single from the reconstituted Boston band Autumn Hollow.  It’s a song which, ironically from the band’s name is more springlike in that it incorporates thoughts of rebirth and regeneration.  That feel makes a lot of sense though considering Autumn Hollow’s return from a lengthy hiatus.

The new EP represents the first new recordings for Autumn Hollow since 2013. The three-song EP features a reconstituted band led by singer/songwriter Brendan Murphy and a refreshed outlook on writing and performing. The band has gone through a few lineup changes since its inception in 2007. It currently features Murphy (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Mike Burke (lead guitar, background vocals), Chuck Vath (bass, background vocals), James DeFilippo (piano, organ, keys), and Nick Campbell (drums).

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
