Band of Horses announce new album, release new song – Listen

After five years, Band of Horses is back with their sixth album, ‘Things Are Great’. The album will be released independently on January 21st, 2022. As the title implies, ‘Things Are Great’ was written pre-Covid and has included past Band of Horses collaborators Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips), and Dave Sardy. Band of Horses has seen many lineup changes over the last 15 years, pivoting around founding member Ben Bridwell and the current band includes many of the original musicians returning. ‘Things Are Great’ has been described as returning to their Seattle roots even though the band now resides in Charleston.
