Beans On Toast “Not Everybody Thinks We’re Doomed” – is this what you Humans call optimism?

An uplifting and optimistic new song from Beans on Toast, with support from Blaine & Jack from Mystery Jets.  The world’s unpredictability is what makes it brilliant is the message that Beans wishes to convey, as he says “I love life. I’m constantly inspired by the crazy world in which we find ourselves.  The road ahead may not be an easy one, but I refuse to believe it’s all for nothing and that we should roll over and quietly wait for extinction. If that’s the future we imagine, then that’s the future we will get. We need to visualise a better future. We need to adapt, and we need to celebrate the things worth celebrating. That’s what this song is, a celebration of life and our future. Bring it on. Chaos and all.

Well, yeah, we’ll take the Chaos just as long as it doesn’t involve the albino prince of Melniboné, wielder of the dark blade, hollering “Blood and Souls for my Lord Arioch” whilst the ship of the doomed sails the seas of fate.  If that’s ok with everyone.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
