Big Love Car Wash announces first European, UK and Ireland Tour

Austin-based americana band Big Love Car Wash is crossing the Atlantic this summer for its debut European tour, bringing their blend of bluegrass, roots, and storytelling to audiences across Denmark, Sweden, England, and Ireland.

The band’s lineup features Sol Chase (mandolin, bouzouki, vocals), whose Colorado roots and current home base in Cloughjordan, Ireland, add a fresh transatlantic perspective. Core members Everett Wren (fiddle) and David Rabinowicz (guitar) anchor the group’s sound, while multi-instrumentalist Carol Anne Bosco joins on upright bass for the tour, further expanding the band’s musical depth.

Formed in 2022, Big Love Car Wash built a reputation for pushing beyond traditional bluegrass, blending americana, folk, and roots influences. Songwriting is shared among three members and explores themes of empathy, environmental awareness, social justice, and community; all delivered through vivid storytelling and buoyant instrumentation.

Their debut album Daydream (2025) captures this spirit, pairing reflective, heartfelt lyrics with lively, roots-driven arrangements that mirror the band’s dynamic live performances. It was described as “rooted in tradition, yet boldly exploratory” by AUK’s Peter Thompson.

The upcoming tour marks a milestone as the band expands into the international dimension, connecting with global audiences. Kicking off on 29th May in Copenhagen, the run includes a mix of festivals and intimate venues, with highlights including an appearance at Haga Bluegrass Festival and multiple stops across Ireland. “This tour is a dream for us,” says Chase. “We’ve always been inspired by the global community around bluegrass and americana music, and we’re excited to share what we do with new audiences across Europe.” You can find tickets here.
