This is not Joni’s ‘Coyote‘, nowhere near it in fact as Bill Callahan sings of a coyote of a very different stripe. Touching on the dreams of old dogs, a new child, and an open declaration of love – try not to fall for “that is how and why I love you now and have always and will always love you now…..yes, I am your lover man, yes I am your lover lover lover man.” Impossible – you’re going to fall hard for this song.
‘Coyote‘ is taken from the new album “YTI⅃AƎЯ” which is out on October 14th, 2022 on Drag City. It is a song best compared to the Grand Canyon – it’s gorgeous We can’t tell you how long we’ve been saving that pun for, but this is the site’s 21st year, and at last there’s a song special enough to deserve it.
