Black Deer is looking for a community and social media manager

And it could be you.  The lovely people over at Black Deer, the UK’s newest americana and country festival, have been in touch with us to see if any of our readership might be the right person for their new Community and Social Media Manager post.  They ask: “Are you a confirmed Americana music and lifestyle obsessive who can post on Instagram whilst pealing a banana and feeding the dog? Are you as sharp as a razor, able to write tweets in your sleep, quick to learn, willing to get under the skin of this fantastically progressive genre and help us to grow our community? We want someone who has their finger on the pulse of all things social and Americana to be the Black Deer Community and Social Media Manager. Salary to be discussed on interest and contract based only.

We’re really keen to have someone who can engage and talk to the artist fan bases, lives and breathes the genres, has a tone and personality to give a ‘personal’ response with a sense of humour, as a voice of Black Deer rather than a sterile autobot. Great communication and writing skills, flexible, responsive, knowledgeable, keen to be an authority and engage in conversation with the right people across all channels, and working with us in line with our overall marketing strategy.” Basically, you need better communication skills than Theresa May and she’s prime minister. If you’re interested, please drop Michelle Rusbrooke from Black Deer a line here.
