Bruce Cockburn really does not need an introduction – let’s just leave it at a tally of his most recent major awards and leave it at that: 2018 Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album Of The Year (‘Bone on Bone‘), Lifetime Achievement Award from SOCAN, the People’s Voice Award from Folk Alliance International and 2017 saw him inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. ‘Blind Willie’ is a taster from Bruce Cockburn’s upcoming album of instrumentals ‘Crowing Ignites‘.
