With no UK Americanafest in prospect the coming January the gig scene might have been a bit thin unless you live in Glasgow. But now late January brings Tommy Emmanuel, Lindsay Ell and Kelsey Waldon while the first week in February offers shows from Amethyst Kiah, Lucinda Williams, Rhiannon Giddens and the Transatlantic Sessions.
What's everybody else looking forward to in 2026?

Like Mark, there's also a lot a theatre, Back to the Future, Dear England, Sunny Afternoon, Operation Mincemeat, Waitress, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables (staged concert), Jersey Boys, Six the Musical.
