Ellie Turner “The ‘I Love You Song'” – someone’s popular…

Ellie Turner is someone that one can only approve of.  During the Fever Dream that was the pandemic lockdowns Ellie found ways to pass the time – get up at a regular time, take breakfast and go for a walk that lasted miles.  Then home to listen to all of Dylan’s albums in chronological order.  Smart move.  It did have an unplanned side-effect as Ellie Turner explains “After days and weeks of this, I remember hitting a breaking point of sorts…with no thanks to ‘Blood on the Tracks.’  I was simply tired of being sad and determined to celebrate the good and happy parts of life. I was bound and determined to write a happy love song if it was the last thing I did on this earth.”  And thus ‘The ‘I Love You Song’‘ came to be.

The song is taken from the album ‘When The Trouble’s All Done‘ which will be released on the 24th of March.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
