Australian acts, Ernest Aines and Camille Trail have announced a series of dates in the UK and Ireland over the summer
Aines is an award-winning Australian singer-songwriter and Australian Folk Artist of the Year Award 2023 nominee. A performer with a soulful voice, guitar skills, and rhythmic stomp box he has drawn comparisons to the work of Ray LaMontagne, Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley and, more recently Nick Drake. He released his debut album “Spiral Bound” in 2023. AUK’s Helen Jones said in her review: “While it’s a smooth, intoxicating voice that draws you in, Aines’ excellent lyrics and skilful musicianship only draw you deeper.”
Trail, from Queensland, is carving a path as one of Australia’s most respected up-and-coming indie-folk singer- songwriters. She released her Shane Nicholson produced debut “River Of Sins” in 2021. Her most recent record, the EP “Magic Trick” came out at the end of June.
Aines is excited to perform for UK audiences, “I’m over the moon to be touring with my running mate Camille Trail, she is such an ace songwriter with enough talent in her pinkie to fill an arena… I’ve also missed the warmth of reception I received from audiences in the UK. I’m totally amped to get back over there and see the new venues and meet the people.”
Trail said of her Debut Tour to the UK: “I’m thrilled to be heading on my very first international tour to the UK and couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone better than Ernest Aines.
