Continuing our new theme of Big Names that matter – and this time it’s I’m With Her who are tapping into something of a Crosby-Nash vibe on their new song ‘Standing On The Fault Line‘ which questions when it’s time to upsticks and leave before things go to hell in a handcart.   A question of environmental concerns? A fear of tectonic movement?  A metaphor for other concerns?  Hey, you’re free to take your own pick.  Whichever, there’s a more than a magical blending of voices from Aoife O’Donovan, Sarah Jarosz and Sara Watkins who has the lead vocal.

And Sara Watkins also offered these thoughts about the song: “‘Fault Line’ came from thinking about Los Angeles as a very transient place where many people feel a tension between whether to stick it out and stay or pack up and move on.  Even if you’ve never been to L.A., I think a lot of people have had the experience of giving up on a dream and needing to pivot to something else.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
