We’ve got some more details on the reissue two of Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit’s earliest albums – 2009’s self-titled ‘Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit’ and 2011’s ‘Here We Rest’ – both remixed and remastered by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb – out October 18th for the first time on Thirty Tigers. These records contain some of Isbell’s best-known songs, including ‘Alabama Pines, Codeine, Cigarettes and Wine, The Blue’ and ‘Tour Of Duty’.
Isbell has also sold out his inaugural, self-curated ShoalsFest, taking place on October 5th in Muscle Shoals, AL, with performances from Sheryl Crow, Mavis Staples & Amanda Shires, in addition to Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit.
The 400 Unit has also announced a seven-night run at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, making it the longest stand the group has had at the venue to date. The shows will take place on October 18th,19th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 25th & 26th and will go on sale Friday if you’re feeling flush and fancy a trip before it becomes impossible to get in or out of the UK ever again.
