Judy Collins revists revisiting the Town Hall Concert

Earlier this year Judy Collins revisited her 1964 Town Hall New York concert for a live-streamed concert. This weekend that concert will be available again to enjoy.  The original concert was recorded and released as a live album (still available!) and featured Judy singing songs by the new hot-shot songsmiths such as Tom Paxton and Bob Dylan.

The new recording from February this year, a mere 57 years after the original gig, saw Judy and her band back on the same stage and doing the same songs – and a few others.  This encore showing is available from the 16th of April and allows for 72 hours of reviewing – that’s the whole of the 16th-18th April weekend.  Tickets are available from here.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
