Luther Black And The Cold Hard Facts “Long Way To Go” – More Hard Travellin’

Taken from the new album ‘Moment Of Truth‘ (out on may 12th), new song ‘Long Way To Go‘ is a blue-collar testament of perseverance in the style of Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp. Singer-songwriter-producer Rick Wagner says of the song “It’s a song about being down but not out.  I wrote it from the viewpoint of the factory worker who has the strength, resolve and optimism to remain hopeful about his future despite his disillusion and regret about his past.

Based in Maplewood, NJ, Luther Black and the Cold Hard Facts were formed in 2019 by singer-songwriter/ producer Rick Wagner and guitarist Matt Wissler.  Originally hailing from different parts of Pennsylvania, Wagner from a small coal town and Wissler from the depths of Amish country, the duo bonded over their rural roots, shared musical experience and love of Hank Williams.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
