Molly Tuttle’s new song features Isbell and Sierra Hull – Listen

‘Million Miles’ is the new single from award-winning songwriter-guitarist Molly Tuttle which is taken from her forthcoming debut album ‘When You’re Ready’ which lands on Friday, April 5th via Nashville’s Compass Records. The single features Jason Isbell on backing vocals and Sierra Hull on mandolin.

“Million Miles” was a song that her songwriting collaborator Steve Poltz brought to her, mentioning that he and Jewel started it in the ‘90s and didn’t complete it. With their blessing, she finished the song and enlisted Hull and Isbell for the recording. “I absolutely loved [the song], but I was kind of nervous to attempt writing another verse,” Tuttle says. “I carried the song around with me for a while, and kept being drawn back to it. When I finally sat down and started writing, the rest of the song just flowed out, and I knew I wanted to record it.”

“Molly is such a great writer,” Poltz adds. “I’m so happy she finished our half-written song. Honoured to know her.”
