He picked up glowing 5-star reviews for his latest album (for example “A stand-out album – poetry is coursing through his veins” – Maverick) ‘I Don’t Do This for Love, I Do This for Love’ – winning him more media exposure in the space of a few weeks than he had experienced for a long time, plus being described as “really, really special” by Ricky Ross (BBC).
Nathan Bell ended 2016 on another high after featuring as one of the Best Male Performers of the Year in the Readers’ Poll on Americana UK. Nathan was included in the top four selected by public vote alongside Cam Penner Jason Isbell and Michael McDermott.
He makes a rare visit to these shores in February for an appearance with James McMurtry at Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow, and has a short string of UK dates before heading for shows in The Netherlands.
