Root River Jam “Showed Me That You Loved Me” – it’s a gift

Root River Jam are a band from Rochester Minnesota consisting of guitar, upright bass, drums and fiddle.  And there’s some great fiddle on ‘Showed Me That You Loved Me’ which is the lead song from the band’s upcoming third album, their first new music since the release of their second album ‘Love is Unity‘ way back in  November of 2022.

Singer/songwriter David Wilson says of ‘Showed Me That You Loved Me‘ that “The song is about dropping what you are doing and spending some time with your significant other. It’s a great and positive choice for starting our new album“.   And it’s a great and gentle way to bring this hectic week to a close.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
