Sara Rachele is not kidding when she says this is a ‘Sad Song‘, it oozes a relentlessly downbeat mood, like a spiral down into a depressive state, but laced with an attractive melancholic indulgence. Or as Rachele puts it “just a sad song…it’s here then it’s gone…a sad sweet song.”
Atlanta-via-Brooklyn Sara Rachele says she’s a folk singer, but as we’ve learnt over the last few years as a singer-songwriter she covers a lot more ground than that description conjures up in the mind. ‘Sad Song‘ is a standalone single, following up on the release earlier this year of her latest album ‘Heartstrings‘.
