Something for the weekend: Jackson Browne “Fountain of Sorrow – Live”

Well that’s it from us for another week dear reader. Earlier this week our writer Rick Bayles discussed Jackson Browne’s ‘Late for the Sky’ in our Classic Americana Albums series which he described as “an album that is so full of clever and considered songwriting” and “a genuinely classic Americana album.” Rick included a 1976 live version of standout track ‘Fountain of Sorrow’ from PBS’s Soundstage series, which made me think of this version, from much later but still sounding just incredible. Plus the intro is very funny. Does anyone know where this was recorded? Enjoy it anyway (while you’re having your vaccine). Have a good one.
