Something for the weekend: Phosphorescent “I’m A Mess”

Well that’s it from us for another week dear reader and we leave you with a track from an amazing new idea from Matthew Houck’s country-rock band Phosphorescent called The Full Moon Project, so called because Houck has said that he’ll release a new song this year every time there’s a full moon. The project started in January with a cover of Randy Newman’s ‘Bad News From Home’ and now, they’ve followed that up with their take on the ever wonderful Nick Lowe, a lesser known track from Lowe’s 2001 album ‘The Convincer’. We don’t take much convincing – it’s a great song. Have a good one.
