Something for the weekend: The Milk Carton Kids “The First Noel”

Credit: David McClister

Well that’s it from us for another week and we leave you dear reader with a track from our brothers from another mother(s) The Milk Carton Kids whose new album “Christmas in a Minor Key” landed on November 29th. In Kenneth and Joey’s own words: “We had so much fun recording the saddest, most beautiful Christmas songs we could think of, in two part harmony of course. We also both played our childhood instruments, cello and clarinet. Very nostalgic, and we hope it brings comfort and joy to your holiday season.”

We can’t think of any people in the whole world who are in more need of comfort than those trapped in Gaza at the moment so as ever please do support your local Palestine events if you can do, and if you can’t attend something please consider donating to charities like MAP supporting them through this current nightmare. Take care and have a good one.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention Mark – I’m just listening to the album and it’s gorgeous!
