Sony to release Springsteen “No Nukes” concert

Sony Music Entertainment has announced the upcoming release of a new Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band film, ‘The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts.’ The concert is a composite of two performances shot during the 1979 MUSE benefits, popularly known as the ‘No Nukes’ concerts. Very little filmed footage of Springsteen & The E Street Band is available from this era, so the film is a rare opportunity to see them in the early part of their career.  ‘The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts’ features remixed and remastered audio and was edited from the original 16mm film by longtime Springsteen collaborator Thom Zimny. No exact date has yet been given for the release.

Watch a (slightly fuzzy) clip of their performance of ‘Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)’ from one of those gigs.
