The very beardy Chris Staplegun was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night, and he didn’t turn up alone – hidden in the depths of his beard was surprise guest Sturgill Simpson, who joined his fellow Kentucky brother onstage to perform “Midnight Train To Memphis” and “Hard Livin’.” You can watch them perform together below via two different clips (thank you SNL for not blocking UK access).
