Canadian bluegrass band The Dead South have recorded this version of the folk standard for their upcoming EP ‘Easy Listening for Jerks Part I’ which will be released on March 4th alongside a second EP called ‘Easy Listening for Jerks Part II’. The EPs feature a diverse selection of tunes from the traditional through Bluegrass standards such as ‘Flint Hill Special‘ and covers of song from bands such as The Doors.
The Dead South have a busy touring schedule planned for 2022, with two USA tours as well as dates in France and UK Dates.
