The Deltaz “Turn It Back” – bring it all on

If you’re someone who feels that there’s something wrong with the Tracks editor – all these emotionally contemplative singer-songwriters, folk bands and yes even Bluegrass, but not so much of the blood-pumping rock touched alt-Country/Americana – then today’s the day for you as The Deltaz have all the raw power you could look for.  The Deltaz are brothers John and Ted Siegel, who put together their music – which is a mighty melting pot blend of rock, folk, country and, yes indeed a touch of high speed blues – in their handmade mobile Airstream studio parked up behind their residence just outside of Nashville Tennessee.

Turn It Back‘ is the title track of The Deltaz’s new album, which will be out in 2022.  On it Ted Siegal takes  guitar and vocals duties while brother John adds the drums, harmonica and backing vocals.  The bass is Corey Dawson and Wurlitzer electric keyboard comes courtesy of Bobby Victor.

Enjoy – and we’ll try and find someone fey and slightly psychedelic for y’all tomorrow.   Can someone get Joanna Newsom on the line?

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
