It may be Week 1 of the new year, but more importantly it’s Week 5 of The Twang Factor 3. Our guests this week are Greenhorses, a new six-piece americana band from the North-West of England. Playing “sunshine americana and road-worn roots”, Greenhorses were formed from what started out as West on Colfax (who took third place in the first Twang Factor) but after various line-up changes and the addition of more personnel it became a whole different animal, with a new energy and new songs, which prompted the change in name to reflect the band’s new identity and direction.
The band are currently looking for a stable label for their debut LP and are available for gigs and festivals.
