The fourth entry for our Twang Factor 3 showcase is Joe Martin. This will be the last one until we resume again in the new year.
Born in Lancashire, Joe Martin grew up singing along to James Taylor and Paul Simon. However, it was his later introduction to country music that really shaped Joe’s musical direction. He formed a country band whilst at university in Leeds but has since then been performing as a solo artist. As well as the UK, Joe has played dates in Europe and the United States, including Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe. Joe has released a series of singles and EPs over the last five years and his debut album will be released in 2023, and on this evidence it is very much one that we are looking forward to.

I’ve seen Joe perform 3 times; 2 in a support slot and most recently as the headliner all at Kirton in Lindsey, Lincs. He is an excellent performer with some outstanding songs. I hope fortune smiles favourably on this young man. Thanks for your music!
