Trampled By Turtles has announced the release of their forthcoming album Alpenglow on October 28th (Thirty Tigers). Produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, Alpenglow is the Minnesota-based sextet’s tenth album. And, wouldn’t ya know it, today’s song is from that very album. Did you see that coming?
‘It’s So Hard To Hold On‘ sees the band reflecting on the difficulty of stopping the progress of time, no matter how hard one tries. Thinking, perhaps, of recent years the band reached out to their fans to provide photo’s and snippets of movies from gigs gone by to illustrate the lyric video for the song as a way of freezing the feelings of joy from the live experience.
