Just to show that it’s never too late to hear a contender for the song of the year, VanWyck’s Listen to you Breathe is, ironically, a breath taking piece of music. An artist that has tried her hand at a variety of musical genres, here her singer-songwriter chops are unassailable, and the dramatic tension of this song – from her album An Average Woman due out in January – is undeniable.
