Video: Big Little Lions “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere”

Big Little Lions turn Europe into their very own dance party in the video for ‘It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere’.   This is no trip to Margaritaville, it is a travelogue that follows band members, Helen Austin and Paul Otten, through the UK and across the continent as they perform this single from their new concept album ‘AMPM’.  Singing in close-knit harmony, the duo tells the tale of bringing a close to the day’s responsibilities and heading into the evening.

Reflecting on making the video the band said, “Making the video for ‘It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere’ was the most fun video we have ever made, mostly because we were traveling around Europe on a band and spouses’ holiday for 4 weeks! The video was mostly recorded by Mr. Little Lion (Trevor), helped by Mrs Big Lion (Jenny) and we had to be prepared to make fools of ourselves surrounded by lots of other tourists, but quickly got the hang of it as you can see by Paul’s dance moves! We got to visit so many amazing places and it was so exciting to create this video in front of so many iconic landmarks. Ironically it wasn’t 5 o’clock anywhere when we recorded the videos… which means it had to be 5 o’clock somewhere, right?!?

The duo is self-contained, performing and singing all of the album except for Daisy Melville who joins them on fiddle.  The eleven-song concept album is available now via Fallen Tree Records.
