Video: Ghost Hounds “You’ll Never Find Me” (Live from Ocean Way)

Here’s the latest video from country-rock band Ghost Hounds.  This is a strings version of the previously released studio recording of “You’ll Never Find Me”, recorded live at Ocean Way in Nashville.  Directed by Allister Ann, the video captures the atmosphere and energy of the band’s live performances and showcases SAVNT’s tremendous vocals.  Ann has worked with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Civil wars and Dan Auerbach and the resulting visual is beautifully shot and edited.  The official video for the original version of the song can be viewed here.  That studio version had a great sense of urgency and power but the addition of the strings and keys provides a depth and intensity and drama that is truly compelling.  This is the stuff of movie soundtracks.

The strings version of the track was arranged by the band’s own Kristin Weber, who says: “Aside from fiddling in a rock band, one of my other great loves is arranging strings for songs. I like working with different voices of an orchestra as if they are different colors in a painting. When our singer, SAVNT, brought this song to us and we began working it out, I immediately heard this strings version forming in my head—partially inspired by what my bandmates were playing. I’m so grateful that Ghost Hounds trusted me to take us into uncharted musical territories.”

Described by the band as a warrior’s anthem with a message of resilience, perseverance and finding strength in the face of adversity.  Ghost Hounds have released four studio albums, including their most recent release “First Last Time”, and have achieved millions of streams.  With performances and rousing anthems like this, we can see why.  Enjoy.
