Featuring excellent guitar and bass work, the new video from Edmonton’s Jake Ian is a great way to end the week. This is the title track from the brand new album, ‘Half a Day Away’, which is out now. Ian says of his seventh album: “I feel like I’ve really found my voice. I’m at a point in my life where I want to write songs for myself, songs that mean something to me. I wanted to make a record that was honest.” Fans of lyrical songs full of narrative detail and characters will enjoy Ian’s work.
