Video: Lost Demos “Watching the World Go Down”

With a lovely vocal melody and expert musicianship, the new song from New Zealand’s Lost Demos delivers a message about sticking together, supporting one another and facing fears alongside friends.  And yet, amidst all the challenges of lock-down, there are new possibilities and a hope for a different future.  When the Lost Demos sing: “We woke up with the world shut down // And the air became clear with the birds and the sounds of long ago // The Quiet Earth regrows // And now they know,” it speaks to that sense of what could grow out of all this.  We were isolated but it was a collective experience.  Watch, listen and hope.
