Video: Phil Hooley “Maybe Later”

Here is another lovely vocal performance from Phil Hooley.  Hooley says: “We managed to squeeze in the recording of this one just before the lockdown and now it seems to have taken on a new significance since we recorded it…it’s called ‘Maybe Later’, which seems to sum up the uncertainty of this time.”  The song features Justin Johnson on drums, Pete Norman on bass and backing vocals, Mark Gordon on piano and Will Oseland on Hammond.  Johnson, a former Nashville producer, took on production duties along with Chris Jones at the Beck View Studios in Scarborough.  It’s the latest single from forthcoming album, ‘Songs From the Back Room’, which will be completed once everyone can get back in the same room at the same time!
