Win tickets to Ramblin’ Roots Review with AUK

Probably the best value americana festival in the UK lands again this year just after Easter so you can boogie away those calories – The three-day indoor Ramblin Roots Revue music festival returns to High Wycombe for a second year from 6-8 April, in association with americana label Clubhouse Records. The bill boasts more than 25 roots, Americana, bluegrass and alt-country acts from the US, UK and Europe including The Magic Numbers ahead of their new album, The Rails, and a UK debut performance from Norwegian band, Lucky Lips.

AUK has a pair of tickets for the whole weekend to give away to one lucky lucky reader.  To enter the competition, just tell us what band performing at Ramblin’ Roots Revue links The Pretenders and Richard Thompson?  Answers with your name and address on to giveaways@americana-uk.com by Sunday March 4th please and we’ll draw a winner at random.

The Ramblin’ Roots Revue will run across three stages at Bucks Students’ Union’s award-winning venue including the EarBelly acoustic stage, new for 2018, which will feature some of the rising stars from the burgeoning folk and roots scene. Artists from the US such as Jess Klein will be joined by European acts including the Midnight Union Band. Saturday’s live music will close with a tribute to Tom Petty, courtesy of The Clubhouse All Stars comprising acts playing at the festival along with other special guests. There will also be late night entertainment with DJ sets on both Friday and Saturday.

We’re proud to be back with another quality line-up that reads like a ‘who’s who’ in contemporary Americana. It promises to be a great weekend, whatever the weather, and as well as being indoors you’re guaranteed to always be within a few metres of a stage showcasing fantastic acts, a well-stocked, reasonably-priced bar and good food.’
