Zachary Lucky brings his soulful baritone to ‘Jasper’ from his new album ‘The Wind’. A simple stripped-down arrangement of guitar,  dobro and mandolin allow the lyrics to shine. Rebekah Hawker joins Lucky on backing vocals.   Lucky’s voice has hints and echoes of some of Country’s greats like Haggard and Jones without ever veering into retro slavishness.

On recording the album Lucky reflects, “I’ve always tried to create albums that really put the song and story front and center, making the listener feel like they’re right there in the room with us.”

‘The Wind’ is due 1st November from Wroxton Recordings.  Lucky will be touring extensively in Canada, the UK, Europe and the U.S. in support of the release
